Supplemental Dataset (Fig. 1-1) for Hoye et al, J Neurosci 2017

Figure 1-1. Excel spreadsheet of CNS cell type enriched miRNAs in brainstem and spinal cord. Sheet 1 (BS_Table) are the CNS cell type enriched miRNAs in the brainstem and Sheet 2 (SC_Table) are the CNS cell type enriched miRNAs in the spinal cord. Column A is the miRNAs profiled with the Taqman low density miRNA array cards. Columns B, C, D and E are the mean LoessM normalized CT count for N=3 arrays for ChAT (motor neurons), GFAP (astrocytes), Lyz2 (microglia) and Syn (pan-neuronal), respectively. Columns F-I is the specificity index (pSI) value for each miRNA, indicating its enrichment in the corresponding cell type as compared to all other profiled cell types; p ≤ 0.05 is considered significant. When NA is present, the pSI could not be determined because the miRNA was not expressed above background in the cell type being assessed. Columns J-M are labeled in TRUE/FALSE to indicate whether the given miRNA in that cell type was differentially expressed from background (non-transgenic mice); see methods for detailed description. Columns N-Y are the log2 fold changes between any two given cell types (log2FC_XvsY) and the associated adjusted p-values. A positive log2 fold change indicates the miRNA is enriched in X compared to Y. An adjusted p-value ≤ 0.05 is considered significant and has been corrected for multiple comparisons; see methods.
